AI Learning Journey held on April 27th 2019 at IIT Madras Research Park, Taramani, Chennai

The event was geared up with Object Automation team. 

As the name implies, AI Learning Journey is our continuation of our last meetup. We are planning to conduct sessions on Artificial Intelligence,  every month in our office premises and concurrently at IIT Madras - Research Park.

We had participants from different Industry domains, Software Professionals, Academicians, College students and this time to be surprised, Grade XI School Students. 

After CBSE's Approval, AI enters Indian Classrooms with Schools Integrating AI in Curriculum.

For the first time in Chennai,  we have introduced course on Artificial Intelligence for School students from Grade 7. We briefed about the Curriculum we roofed and pitched the importance of Mathematics for AI.  

Mr. Ravichandran Sir - Automation Consultant from Tech Mahindra has geared the session and made Interactive to the audience. Everyone buckled up and he covered the core concepts of Automation from basics to Advanced Intelligent Automation. He discussed about what, where, why Automation is required, how we can automate the process, and where Intelligence required in Automation with few examples Self Service Paasword Reset, Real Time Telemetry, Robot Process Automation, John Boyd Model. 

We have discussed about  IoTs, Data Science, ML, DL , AI and how it will Transform in Future and how we can build a good Model for Automation. Audience clarified their doubts then and there. School Students raised some questions and got good ideas.

Then, the session was continued by Mr. Praveen.G.B Sr. Technical Lead  from Path Partner Technology,

Mr.Praveen Sir has discussed about Deep Neural Networks, CNN, R-CNN . He explained about Object Detection Techniques and Image Classification Techniques. Then briefed about ADAS Vs Autonomy and five levels of Vehicle Autonomy. The Session was very Interactive and discussed about Industry Use cases  based on Computer Vision.

Then the Session was covered by Mr.Ajay High School Student. He explained about IBM Power AI Vision and explained about Natural Language Processing. He explained use cases based on NLP and concepts of IBM Power AI Vision

The session ends up with panel disscusion. Again we will meet in our Next Meetup in our Office Premises on May 18th 2019 and IIT Madras Research Park on June 29th 2019.
